and now for something completely different

Over the last few years, I have had, on several occasions, moms suggest that I start a youtube channel. Or a podcast. I’m pretty sure it’s because I talk a lot. They encourage me to adopt a verbal platform. That’s nice.

But anyway, after my delightful podcast interview with darling Cameron of Among The Lilies, I was encouraged and inspired to pursue this worthy task. Best advice from Cameron, “you need a millennial.”

And so, she found me one! With the generational expertise of dear Elizabeth, we started a podcast called Make Joy Normal. So fun!

The goal of our podcast is to answer questions to help your be awesome. To answer questions that burn on the mind of every homeschooler. To answer questions that will help make your homeschool day more cozy. To help make joy normal in your household.

So you get to ask the questions. Submit them to me via email or submit questions as a post or private message on this facebook page, Homeschoolers, make joy normal. Or here on Instagram.

The best boss I ever had told me (at thirteen, when I started working for him), “there are NO stupid questions.” “A question means you want to do it properly. I can’t expect you to know things without showing you.” That’s always stood me in good stead.

Our blog also airs via video on my youtube channel RIGHT HERE.

That way you can see how adorable we are too.

I finally got a subscribe button for this blog too. Um. I had a lot of RSS problems. If anyone out there can ever in the future help me with RSS, you can be my best friend.

Here’s the story, for real.

I have a message, and I think it’s worth the time and effort it takes to share it. I think we need to hold each other up, and help each other be awesome. Whatever you have to give and and in whatever capacity you carry joy to the world, do that. Hold out the joy you carry to others, offer it. It grows in the offering and in the sharing.

Love you all. Bonnie
